You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, payroll teams, and project managers to ensure seamless system upgrades and process improvements.

The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of payroll and workforce management system enhancements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting current state processes, including process flows, touchpoints, and outcomes.
  • Gathering and defining business requirements for system enhancements and future-state solutions.
  • Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to ensure business needs are clearly identified and addressed.
  • Developing functional specifications, process maps, use cases, and user stories.
  • Supporting change management initiatives and ensuring smooth adoption of new systems.
  • Collaborating with payroll teams to ensure compliance with business rules and enterprise agreements.
  • Working with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business goals and system capabilities.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in payroll or workforce management projects.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and enterprise agreement structures.
  • Proven experience in documenting processes, business requirements, and system specifications.
  • Experience working with Jira and other project management tools (Open Project experience advantageous).
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience in large-scale system upgrades or payroll transformation projects.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a structured and detail-oriented Business Analyst to contribute to a major transformation project in a large, complex, multi-site organisation.
