The Opportunity

Join a national leader in essential services, providing critical solutions across Australia. With hundreds of sites and thousands of employees, this organisation is undergoing a significant workforce management transformation, upgrading from an on-premise system to a cutting-edge cloud-based WFM platform. They are seeking three Kronos Specialists to play a key role in this transition, ensuring enterprise agreements are correctly interpreted and implemented into the new system.

The Role

As a Kronos Specialist, you will be the key subject matter expert on enterprise agreements and workforce management rules. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and interpreting enterprise agreements, ensuring accurate award configuration.
  • Acting as the bridge between payroll, HR, and the development team, translating business requirements for system configuration.
  • Supporting internal teams in understanding and implementing changes to time and attendance rules.
  • Assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and optimising payroll processes within Kronos.
  • Ensuring seamless compliance with workforce legislation and company policies.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience working with multiple enterprise agreements across industries such as healthcare, retail, mining, energy, or utilities.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, Fair Work Act, and workforce compliance.
  • Proven experience with Kronos / UKG workforce management systems, specifically UKG Workforce Central or WFM Pro.
  • Ability to translate complex enterprise agreements into system requirements for configuration.
  • Experience in large-scale, multi-site organisations with complex award structures.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with payroll, HR, and technical teams.

This role is not a technical developer position – instead, we are seeking specialists who can interpret, advise, and support the configuration process rather than executing it themselves.
