Recently we welcomed Fabian to the CloudApps team as a Recruitment Consultant. We learn more about Fabian's role, his background and what he's most looking forward to in the role below.
What is your role at CloudApps Consulting? What does an average day involve?
I’m a Recruitment Consultant here at CloudApps Consulting, where I connect with IT professionals daily. My average day involves speaking with candidates to understand their experience and career goals, whilst also sharing insights on current trends in the tech market.
Tell us a bit about your professional background.
I initially started my career in the health industry, working in and managing health clubs, but over three and a half years ago, I made the move into IT recruitment. Since then, I’ve specialised in the IT infrastructure space, gaining a strong understanding of the fundamentals of business technology and industry needs. I’m now excited to explore the wonderful world of ERP’s and help businesses expand their IT capabilities.
What are you enjoying about your role at CloudApps Consulting?
I love the chance to connect with different candidates every day, getting to know their backgrounds and career stories. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I enjoy learning about them as a person and helping them secure their next role.
Where do we find you in your downtime?
In my downtime, you’ll likely find me roaming around Melbourne hunting down the latest sandwich that’s popping up on Instagram with my fiancé and dog, Beans. Aside from eating, I’m big into my health and fitness, and do enjoy spending time playing games.
What's your favourite part of Australia?
My favourite part of Australia, has to be the mix of multicultural food that we have. We have so many cultures in Australia, and it is great to explore them all.
What does 2025 hold both professionally and personally for you?
Professionally, I hope to make an impact in the ERP space and really make a difference with companies, finding right people to transform their business systems. Personally, I hope to get into the property market with my small family.
