As you may already know by now, CloudApps has a “sister” company, Speller www.spellerinternational.com.au which has been in business for over 23 years and specialises exclusively within the SAP resourcing and recruitment arena.
We established CloudApps only 5 years ago when we saw a gap in the market; many of our Speller ‘SAP’ customers were reaching out and asking us to assist with other Cloud-based ERP products such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, MS Dynamics etc. They were struggling to find resources in these areas and didn’t know who to go to.
Creating Opportunities
Internally it made sense, there was an opportunity in the market but just as importantly I was looking for a way to offer our internal team some diverse career growth and opportunity - Speller had been a reasonably flat structure with an incredible staff retention – 40% of our team have now been at Speller for more than 10 years.
CloudApps offered an opportunity for people to “spread their wings” and try something new, if they desired - whilst still working alongside the team they know and love and still utilitising some of their networks from SAP.
So, it is incredibly exciting to see one of our long term Spellerites Chris Oughton, step outside of his comfort zone and choose to join CloudApps Consulting.
Chris specialised in SAP Change and Training for over 9 years at Speller and built up some loyal networks.
Chris stepped in to CloudApps as a Senior ERP Account Manager/BDM and will be assisting our customers across all of their IT/ERP and Project Services resourcing needs.
We are excited to see Chris grow and challenge himself in his new role and know that he will be incredibly successful.
