As this client continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in a dynamic and forward-thinking company that values expertise, dedication, and the drive to succeed.

Role Overview:

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will play a crucial role in supporting their internal systems, ensuring they run smoothly, and providing technical support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high levels of availability and security.
  • Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account administration.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Implement and manage security policies, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Conduct regular system audits and generate performance reports.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, ideally over 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of M365 Apps, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Team etc
  • Experience with M365 Cloud services, including SharePoint, MS Teams.
  • A detailed understanding of networking concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and security configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Management and prioritisation of escalated tickets in a Helpdesk service management tool
